Commercial and Recreational Diving Medicals

We are fully equipped to provide both Commercial & Recreational Diving medical approvals in accordance with the requirements set out in the Australian Standards AS 4005.1, and the guidelines set out by The South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society (SPUMS).

Aviation Medicals

We offer the services of a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME), in accordance with The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requirements. We are fully equipped to provide Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 Aviation Medicals.

General Occupational Medicals

All general occupational medical assessments are available, including pre-employment medical clearances, workplace health checkups and hazardous substances (including lead) medicals. Our Doctors are also fully qualified to process Workcover claims.

Peter Herbert

General Practitioner,
MBBS

Dr Peter Herbert acquired several degrees and postgraduate medical qualifications throughout his career. He has undertaken advanced training in Aviation Medicine, Diving Medicine and Travel / Tropical Medicine. He is highly qualified in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Occupational and Environmental Medicine as well. Peter obtained his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Otago. He also holds a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Dr Herbert’s vast experience and medical qualifications set him apart as a highly competent doctor in Ascot. He is passionately interested in Aviation Medicine. He demonstrates high- level clinical, technical and research skills through breadth and depth of knowledge, using creative reasoning, experience and vision to advance care.
